What is RF Microneedling?
RF microneedling treatments are more powerful and more effective than traditional microneedling treatments. Radiofrequency is used to deliver energy more precisely. As a result, there is less risk of scabbing, burning, scarring, and pigmentation issues, and no bleeding whatsoever. The procedure is pain-free and there is little to no downtime. What Makes Virtue RF® special?
Virtue RF® offers more pulse duration and pulse settings than the majority of other RF Microneedling hand pieces including the ability to turn off the RF energy itself, which may have some specific uses for certain treatment protocols. Ultimately, the more choice a professional has with their tools the more they can customize a treatment to their patient’s unique needs. At RejuveenMD, we favor formulating custom treatment plans for our patients, and so having versatility in our approach options is one of the reasons we have adopted the VirtueRF® system.
The SmartRF handpiece offers a Robotic Precision Delivery (RPD) to offer unmatched options in delivering microneedling treatment at a given skin depth. Paired with this delivery system is the sheet mask technology, the Microcurrent Dual Face Mask system is a two-mask system that is paired with every VirtueRF microneedling session. After the VirtueRF session, a wet mask is applied to the patient. This mask is infused with vitamins, antioxidants, and moisturizing agents so that your skin is rejuvenated. A second mask is applied which contains patented Tissue X technology to apply ingredients deep into the skin by using an ion-induced current.

Is there Downtime?
Our equipment offers little to no downtime. Recovery is quite simple, as the laser is designed to leave surrounding tissue unharmed. Immediately after your treatment, the skin in the treated area(s) may be slightly red and inflamed, with some patients describing the feeling like a mild sunburn. Generally, uncomfortable or abnormal sensations will resolve in a few hours. However, some patients may require one or two days for their skin to return to a normal state. Any persistent discomfort can be easily managed with cold compresses or over-the-counter pain medication.

With a numbed face, the treatment feels like light pressure with a light sparking sensation every now and then.
To provide a comfortable patient experience, a tailored, compounded numbing cream, the best numbing cream available, is used 20 to 30 minutes prior to Virtue Microneedling treatment. Many patients report that the treatment was comfortable to virtually pain-free for them. The Virtue Microneedling RF device was made with the comfort of the patient in mind.
Radio Frequency generates heat, which stimulates collagen formation, resulting in tighter, younger-looking skin. Patients have had excellent results when combined with cutting-edge microneedling.
Many doctors believe that three treatments, spaced four to six weeks apart, offer the experience that patients desire. Depending on the desired experience, single treatment procedures are offered.
The Virtue Microneedling treatment itself takes around 45 minutes, plus another 20 to 30 minutes for numbing.
The majority of patients go out without any makeup a few hours following their therapy. To get the most out of the Virtue treatment during the first 4 to 6 hours, wait at least 6 hours before applying makeup, and even better, wait until the next morning.
Begin by selecting the appropriate equipment, therapy serums, and recovery system. When you return home, follow the recovery recommendations. Avoiding sun exposure and taking 3 to 5 days off from working out can help you get the most out of your Virtue Microneedling treatment. For best results, multiple treatments are recommended.
